1993 Annual Jones Family Reunion

Fourty-six relatives of Joseph Jones and Emily Mallott arrived Friday, June 25, 1993 at the home of David and Judy Jones, Quincy, Illinois. They were ably assisted by their children, Vickie and Brian Jones.

Eating, visiting, swimming, card playing and touring the swollen Mississippi River was the order of our stay. Daivd and Judy live 5 miles from the Mississippi River.

Sunday, we held the business meeting and auction. The auction netted $508.00 which more than covered the expense of $475.00. $25 will be sent to Tammy Jones Hurt to start next year's reunion. Many fine articles were made and donated by family members. We get better each year!

New members coming from Indiana were Marilyn Jones Bishand and her husband, David. Marilyn is the daughter of Wilbur Jones. Donald William Jones and his son David came from Lake Villa, Illinois. Mark Jones also came from Lake Villa, Illinois. Mark and Donald William (Donnie Bill) are sons of Donald D. Jones.

New members are Matthew Rollan Jones, born June 28, 1992 to Kenneth and Terry L. Jones. Kasey Kaye Jones, 8#, 15 oz., born June 29, 1992 to Matthew and Karen Jones.

Betty Jones Heidenreich and Freddie Heidenreich celebrated their 50th Golden Anniversary March 20, 1993.

Timothy Wayne Heidenreich, 39 of 1707 S. Part St., Streator, Illinois, died November 15, 1992. He was the son of Betty and Freddie Heidenreich.

Vickie Jones, cut her leg on the tent stake requiring many stitches on the last day of the reunion.
