Our Family's Journey Through Time
The 18th Jones Family reunion was held June 27th and 28th, 1987 at Flannagan, Illinois. Fred and Betty Heidenreich hosted the reunion with the Heidenreich's having the most family members present. We may have a large family but we are proud of everyone of them.
It would be nice to see some new faces at the reunion and a few more of the young ones.
It shouldn't be a big or difficult task to stay acquainted with your relatives. Unless there are some you would rather forget.
What we hope was a good meal was served to 43 people on Saturday and 39 on Sunday. We tried to do something different and had a salad bar along with hamburgers, roast beef and all the trimmings. We hope everyone had fun.
Since the last reunion we had 1 wedding and 2 births.
Pamela Hutchins and Gary Dorstewitz were married December 29, 1987. David and Laurie Heidenreich had a little girl Melissah Abbigail on December 29, 1986. Also Richard and Linda Heidenreich had a little boy, Richard Lee Jr. on May 29th, 1987. Congratulation!!!
The craft and jewelry sale was held and was met with much enthusiasm and bidding. The sale netter $150.00 and it looks like it should be held every year.
It was decided that the reunion will be held in North Carolina at Rollan and Marilyn's next year. Hope to see you there.
