Our Family's Journey Through Time
The 21st annual Jones Reunion was held in North Carolina. 45 family members and 4 guests were in attendance. We were pleased to have for the first time Wilbur Jones and his friend Donna Blankenship. Wilbur is from the John Jones side of the family tree.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and also the letters of those who could not attend. We are checking on the date of Aunt Viola's death, August of 1989.
We, of course, had our annual water fight with most everyone getting soaked. Hoerver, it was noted that Richard seemed to have the most fun getting his grandmother wet.
Dennis and Kenneth outdid themselves with the cooking. Everyone tried their roast pig and seafood dinners.
Amendments to the minutes was a son, David William, born to Donnie Bill Jones and Wendy Lopez on March 26, 1989.
Happenings for this past year was Freddie Heidenreich retired and Cathy Jones married Stephen Foster on June 2, 1990.
It was decided that Pam would have the reunion next year around the 22nd of June.
A good time was had by all.
