Our Family's Journey Through Time
Since the 1974 reunion, there were no mariages and one birth. A son, Kent Allen, was born to Tom and Evelyn Heidenreich on April 8, 1975, which makes the fifth great grandchild in the sixth and 7th generation on both sides.
The oldest member present was David L. Jones and the youngest member present is Kent Heidenreich. Traveling the fartherest was Ethel Murphy from Oregon.
We would like to congratulate the two graduates, Rick Heidenreich from High School and Tammy Jones from 8th Grade.
For dinner, we served roast beef, sloppy joes and all the fixings to 71 people. The afternoon was spent by visiting, swimming, volley ball, and taking tours to Sandra Sampsell's home and Pam Jacob's unfinished house.
On Sunday, June 22nd, we celebrated the 80th birthday of David L. Jones. An open house was held and many local people stopped to help Dad celebrate. He received many cakes and presents. He was disappointed when Fanne Foxe the stripper did not show up. Griends and relatives from Illinois, Iowa, Oregon, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Indiana, and Minnesota were here. There were many euchre games played with the local home towners suffering severe defeats. We are looking forward to the 1976 reunion hosted by Phill and Ann Thomas and co-hosted by Jeff and LuAnn Kindlespire.
