Our Family's Journey Through Time
Thirty-five members of the Jones Clan traveled to Quincy, Illinois to the home of David and Judy Jones for our yearly gathering.
Very warm weather made the swimming pool a welcome relief for the younger and not so young members. All enjoyed the food, visiting, cards, and shopping.
Aunt Adele Phillips and her two daughters made a surprise visit. Good to see her. She is 86 years old. Her two daughters are Joan Durango and Beverly Adrian. They are from the LsSalle and Utica, Illinois area.
New members are: Katheryn Sue Fornero, daughter of Linda Heidenreich-Fornero and Tim Fornero, born on October 15, 1991. Melissa Ann Foster, daughter of Kathy Jones-Foster and Steve Foster, was born February 15, 1992.
Karen Kukman changed her name back to Mitchell.
The business meeting ended with Dolores Mitchell being next year's hostess in Florida. David and Judy Jones will be back-up if it's not possible for Florida.
The auction netted $303.75 with Ann and Phill Thoms picking up the balance of the expenses.
P.S. Vickie Jones helped all interested members make tie-dyed t-shirts. There were very interesting results.
