Our Family's Journey Through Time
The 16th annual Jones Family reunion was held at the home of Fred and Betty Heidenreich, hosted by Rollan and Marilyn Jones.
A delicious fresh fish and shrimp menu was prepared by Rollan and Kenneth Jones and enjoyed by everyone present. Additional menu fare included, salads, relishes, and deserts.
Grandma (Elverda) Jones at 85 was the oldest member present and the youngest was Lisa Cash granddaughter of Rollan and Marilyn Jones. There was one additional birth since the last reunion. Matthew andKaren Jones, son and daughter-in-law of Donald and Phyllis Jones, gave birth to a beautiful boy (taking after the grandfather, naturally) named Michael Matthew Jones - his birth date was 6-29-1984. Congratulations!
Everyone was reminded to update their family history and submit it to the appropriate person in charge, being Vivian Hutchins, Keeper of the Archives.
Donald and Roseann Jones were suggested as next years reunion host and hostess. They were overrun with joy and excitement at the proscpect of hosting yet another annual family festivity. Kris Brando and Pam Hutchins will co-chair the even in Lawrence, Michigan at Pan's house on June 28th & 29th.
The craft auction was a popular event and raised $134.00 and it was suggested it be held next year.
